BSB Rd 1 Brands Hatch Supersport Cup Friday

In day 1 of the BSB Brands Hatch round Pat McDougall had two free practice sessions before qualifying tomorrow and racing on Sunday. Pat posted the 2nd fastest time in the Supersport Cup competition which is a great start to our campaign and is a good step on the development of our new Supersport bike. The team decided to run two full race length (18 lap) sessions to look at tyre wear and Pat's time in the second session was 1.5 seconds faster than the first. We are looking forward to building further on this good result as we go into tomorrow. The first photos from Brands Hatch will be posted tomorrow evening. The great race at the new Portimao circuit brings an end to our season in World Superbike Superstock 600, with riders Gino Rea and Dan Linfoot.
The season has been a success with Gino third and Dan fifth in the championship standings following three victories and five additional podiums in total. The results have also acted as a stepping stone to the riders for next season, with both securing high profile, career progressing rides for 2009.
