Misano final qualifying - leaving ourselves a lot to do

Final qualifying today did not go to plan. Dan's bike developed a clutch problem at the start of the session that resulted in no opportunity to improve times from yesterday. Gino improved on yesterday's times but then had a crash (Gino is fine) with others then able to put in faster times and overtake Gino's grid position. Gino is on the third row and Dan is on the fifth row of the grid for the race this afternoon. We have a challenge to achieve the results that we want from this round but both Gino and Dan are ready for it. The race is live on SBK TV at www.worldsbk.com at 17.40 CET.

StoneBaker Racing contests the 2008 World Superbike European Superstock 600 championship with riders Dan Linfoot and Gino Rea.
We have just recorded our second-best result of the year with Gino Rea taking the runner-up spot at Brands Hatch. In the championship standings, Gino currently lies fourth and Dan fifth.
There is now a month-long break in the series before the action resumes at Donington Park between September 5th-7th.
